Living Roof on Widebeam Barge, Nottingham

I was wondering if you could quote for the prefabrication and assembly of a timber frame roof for a wide beam barge?

Attached are some rough ideas done in Google Sketchup. If COLLADA format is suitable, I can email these in 3D format. The barge is 72ft long and 14.5ft wide overall. The timber structure is to be 13m by 4.2m and with an overall height of around 8ft at the centre (With a 6" pitch to the almost flat roof).

My general requirements are as follows:-

- Living Roof system will be used, with 4" of earth and a wet weight of 5 tonnes is to be supported by the frame.
- Large triple glazed glass windows of approximately 3m lengths will be used, so the 3m spans need to support the living roof.
- Double doors either end, again with triple glazed glass.
- Vents in the living roof for boat safety reasons.

I am primarily looking for a cheap solution that is over engineered and uses the timber frame as a feature. The large supports inside may not be required, depending on the method used for bulkheads. As this is a personal project, and for pleasure use on the river, there are no building regulations to take into account and all I ask for is a guarantee about weight and structural stability, along with pressure treated timbers that have a guarantee attached.

Ideally I would like the frame designed and built off site, and then delivered on-site and put up in a couple of days. This is due to site security and weather limitations. I would like to have this constructed by end of April.

The barge is currently located in Nottingham, on dry standing, within an open industrial estate.

Please call for more information, or to arrange a meeting.

Thanks
